Herbanika  Post Natal Care

Malay confinement is essentially an all-encompassing process that aims to preserve the health and femininity of Malay women. Confinement practices stem from the belief that the womb is a woman’s life force and affects her overall health. Thus, a healthy womb ensures that a woman stay radiant and alluring.

NR Postnatal Care is proven to be an effective herbal preparation in reducing weight after delivery,  easy to use, safe and multifunctional. The set comprises of  :-

Phytonatal

Traditionally used to strengthen the body and reduce body weight after childbirth.

Contents:

1.        Glycyrrhiza glabra radix

2.        Cassia angustifolia follium (extract)

3.        Zingiber official rhizom

4.        Coriandrum sativum semen

5.        Pimpenella anisum semen

Dosage

To be taken 1-2 tablets a day. (Traditionally   recommended to be taken with Akar Herbanika.)

 

Akar Herbanika Herbal Drink

Traditionally used to increase body nutritional value for women after childbirth, to strengthen and freshen the weak body. Also traditionally used for man and women to reduce fatigue, joint pain. Balanced diet and regular exercises are essential.
Contents

1.        Piper betle

2.        Curcuma xanthorrhiza rhizom

3.        Zingiber rhizoma

4.        Orthosiphon spicatus folium

5.        Terminalia cattapa cortex / indian almond

6.        Zingiber varrabrum rhizom / red ginger

Dosage

·          Dip 2 sachets of Akar Herbanika with 1 mug of hot water. If the herbal tea is too thick, dilute with water to make it lighter.

·          Add pure honey to sweeten it. Drink it warm at least 3 – 4cups or 2 mugs daily during confinement.

·          For mothers with excess wind in the body, to boil 5 sachets of Akar Herbanika with slices of Old Ginger in 1 liter of water. Add pure honey to every drink. Drink it warm.

  Herbanika Barut Cream
Traditionally  used to strength the abdomen muscles especially for women after childbirth. Also used for relief of joints and muscular pain.
Contents:

• Oryza sativa semen
• Myristica fragrans semen
• Cymbopogon citratus cortex
• Oryza glutinosa semen
• Trigonella foenum graecum semen

Direction to use

• To be used 2 times a day. Morning after bath and evening.
• For Krim Herbanika Barut: Squeeze out 1-2 inch of Krim Herbanika Barut, apply it onto the abdomen (upper and lower), waist area and torso area. Cover the area by using strap-on binder or traditional binder (Bengkung or Barut).

Note: In the evening, remove binder and clean off the dried paste with Minyak Herbanika and reapply a cream onto the required areas. Use a new or clean binder. Keep it on overnight.






Herbanika Lulur Body Scrub

Traditionally used for cleanliness of skin.

Contents:

·          Kaempferia galangal

·          Zingiber cassamunar

·          Santalum

·          Curcuma hyneanae

Usage

·          Before bath, scrub body with a mixture of 2 tablespoon of Herbanika Lulur, warm water and a little Rose Water.

·          Scrub well on body, legs, feet, arms and back till it dries up on the skin.

·          Bath with Uncang Cuci herbal bath.

 

 

Herbanika Oi

l Traditionally used for vitality after childbirth, strengthening muscles, cough, pain and aches, relieving joints and muscles pain, improving blood circulation and reducing phlegm.

Contents:

1.        Piperaceae folium

2.        Andropogon nardus folium

3.        Eucalyptus globules

4.        Myristica fragrans

5.        Cocos nucifera oil

Usage

·         Apply generously on the upper and lower abdomen, upper and lower back before practicing ‘hot stone’ formation treatment (Bertuam Batu Tuku) and the usage of Herbanika Barut for binding the abdomen.

·         It is a fast recovery usage for Caesarian surgery and Episiotomy for normal birth.

·         It is recommended to mix Minyak Herbanika and Minyak Berubat Herba for body massage.
